Eros International Releases 'Bhoothnath' in Pakistan

 

EROS INTERNATIONAL RELEASES ‘BHOOTHNATH’ IN PAKISTAN  

FOR THE FIRST TIME PAKISTAN CENSOR BOARD GIVES ALL CLEAR FOR UNCUT VERSION OF AN INDIAN FILM TO BE RELEASED DAY AND DATE IN PAKISTAN  

Eros International, the London AIM listed leading integrated company within the Indian media & entertainment sector releases Bhoothnath in Pakistan day and date with the film’s global release. Bhoothnath becomes the first Indian film to be passed by Pakistan Censor Board for a day and date release in its original un-cut version. It is also the first film of Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, the two topmost stars of Indian film industry, to release in Pakistan.  

Eros will be releasing Bhoothnath on 9th May across all major cities in Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujaranwala, Hyderabad and Gujarat, in association with renowned production and distribution houses Evernew Group and HKC Entertainment who have been in the business for more than 50 years.

The Vipul Shah-produced "SINGH IS KINNG" is getting bigger by the day.  The story is about a small town Sikh boy who, because of circumstances, becomes a sinister underworld gangster.
 
The latest on the film, according to industry sources, is that legendary rapper, Snoop Doggy Dogg will rap with superstar Akshay Kumar in the keenly anticipated film!
 
The sources add that the celebrity rapper is likely to render a verse for the song and shoot a music video with Kumar very soon, that will go on air well before the release of the film on August 8.
 
The film's main composer Pritam is not connected with the song, which is being handled independently by Akshay and Vipul. The Snoopy track is likely to form a part of the film's soundtrack, to be released by Junglee Music.
 
Officials close to the film will not comment at this juncture but are likely to make a formal announcement soon.

Joint venture between Eros International and Eyeqube Studios Pvt Ltd.

 

EYEQUBE STUDIOS POWERS UP

 
 

EyeQube Studios Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Eros International Plc and Charles Darby, today announced that the state-of-the-art visual effect studio in Mumbai has commenced operations. The company has officially begun work on the much-awaited films, “Aladin” and “Drona”. A slate of other feature film work will be announced within the next few months. 

Meanwhile, EyeQube continues its enormous recruitment drive to help service its vast amount of production work over the coming months and years. 

Spread across an area of 20,000 square feet, the studio has one of the best facilities for visual effects in India with the latest state of the art hardware and software. The company will be utilizing both Auto Desk’s Maya for 3D and the foundry’s Nuke, as it’s primary composite program. 

Charles Darby, Creative Director of EyeQube & Senior Visual Effects Supervisor said, “I’m extremely proud to see EyeQube open it’s doors and although we have a fabulous set-up technically, I’m most proud to see a facility that feels creative and approaches the work in a more artistic manner.
