DJ Dav is back with his latest release, “Asla” — a fresh and energetic fusion of Bhangra, Bollywood and UK Garage, bringing together traditional Asian influences with a modern British club sound.

Featuring Kaur Gill & Sahil, “Asla” delivers catchy Haryanvi lyrics, powerful rhythms and an infectious groove designed to get listeners moving. The track combines the energy and spirit of Bhangra with the cinematic flavour of Bollywood, while UK Garage-inspired production gives it a contemporary British edge.

Haryanvi Meets Electronic!

Haryanvi music has a rich folk tradition built around strong rhythms, earthy Haryanvi language, storytelling and instruments such as dholak, dhol, nagara, been, sarangi and harmonium. It is deeply connected to village life, weddings, harvests, Holi, Teej and other festivals.

There is now a natural opportunity for Haryanvi folk music to move into a more electronic sound — keeping the traditional dhol, nagara and folk vocal styles, while introducing:
