East London singer Karan Janjua returns with a fresh R&B-infused Punjabi release 'Dil Nah Lagda', showcasing his distinctive vocals and growing presence in the UK diaspora music scene.

East London-based Punjabi singer Karan Janjua has released his latest single, ‘Dil Nah Lagda’, a contemporary R&B-influenced track that brings together his Punjabi roots and the energy of the UK music scene.

The new release marks another step forward in Karan’s evolving musical journey. With a rich vocal style shaped by years of training and experience, the singer delivers a modern sound while remaining connected to the cultural heritage that inspired him.

Born and raised in East London, Karan developed a passion for Punjabi music from an early age. He began his musical journey in his early twenties before undertaking formal vocal training with renowned Punjabi vocalist Mangal Singh, best known for the timeless classic ‘Rail Gaddi’. The training helped establish the strong and versatile vocal technique that has become a defining feature of Karan’s music.

Karan made his recording debut in 2017 with ‘Brand’, followed by ‘Lak De Hulare’. After a period of creative development, he returned with a series of releases through Sky Level Productions UK, including ‘Dhua Jatt Da’, ‘Mehndi’, ‘Reel’ and ‘Selfie’ in 2024.

His subsequent releases, ‘Snapchat’ and ‘Chaa’, have continued to build momentum and highlight his development as a confident and increasingly versatile Punjabi artist.

Beyond music, Karan is also an entrepreneur and senior designer. His creative background plays an important role in his approach to music, allowing him to bring together sound, design and visual storytelling to create complete artistic projects.

With ‘Dil Nah Lagda’, Karan Janjua continues to develop a sound that reflects both his Punjabi heritage and his East London upbringing, positioning him as an artist with growing potential within the UK and global Punjabi music scene.
