What do you think has made you successful in the female Punjabi music industry?

It is Love. I think the love of my fans & my parents had given me the place in industry where I stand today.

Why do you think the female music industry has become so big? Do you think women are finally getting the same recognition male artists are?

Because the talent of womens is not being suppressed anymore like it used to be in older times. audiences have started to accept the musical talent of Females and even the bigger of bigger families have started to support their girl childs who are good in music.

Hence today majority of singers are coming from non musical families & the deep love of our fans bring female artists same recognition and fan following as other male artists.

Besides yourself, who is your favourite female artist at the moment and what is your favourite track?

She is Ira Istrefi and her song Bon Bon makes me go crazy. Miss Pooja has done wonders for female artists in Punjab.

How would you describe yourself and the music you make?  How successful has it made you?

I think first I have to love the song for my audiences to love it. What I make or I release is something that I can feel and I personally connect to.

So far the journey has been great.

How did the industry being predominantly male affect your path?

I don't believe it really affected me rather my duets be it Lovely vs PU or Angreji wali madam brought me utmost presence and fame.

There are a lot of other female singers in the music industry. Do you ever feel that there's tension or negativity between yourself and the other female artists?

Today's female artists are born free from all this negativity or tension. I feel We all support each other's talent, hear each other's songs, new releases & love them.

Is there a sort of "competition feeling" amongst the female artists? What sets you apart from the rest?

Every artist is born with his or her respective aura. The kind of impression they make on audiences can't be matched by other. everyone is special and blessed with different qualities.

Can you give your fans any updates on your next single?

Working on new stuff for my fans & releasing my next single 'Choti Choti Gall' this summer. Keep supporting.
