Urmila Matondkar's loss has become Priyanka Chopra's gain. Urmila had walked out of Shyam Benegal's next film. Produced by Sanjay Gupta, Chamki Chameli is the adaptation of the famous musical Carmen. The offer was first turned down by Kareena Kapoor and now Urmila has chosen to opt out. Jimmy Shergill was to play the lead actor but now with Priyanka stepping in, the producer is looking for another actor as well. The music of the film will be composed by A R Rahman.
