A three-way collaboration, Tú started with a distinct vision. Aran understood the lyrics he wished to perform and precisely whom he wanted to compose them for. Once the words arrived, before any music was recorded, the track carried a spark that suggested to everyone involved they had found something remarkable.

The completed track is a love song directed primarily at women producing content on social media. Its brief, memorable hook invites easy singing, while the calm delivery remains gentle on the ears. Beneath this lies a relaxed R&B rhythm, suited for swaying during a drive or through headphones.

Guitars appear throughout the record, adding a warm, Spanish tone that distinguishes it from standard R&B releases.

Tú follows Aran’s recent single Olas, created with Maniscooler and Sam.u.el, and extends his continuing search for fresh sounds.

Music has shaped Aran’s life since childhood. At 13, he started learning the dhol, the traditional Punjabi drum, with the celebrated producer Aman Hayer. What began as an interest in rhythm and Punjabi culture expanded into a broader passion for performance, leading Aran to concentrate on his voice; he spent more than 14 years refining his singing under Tru Skool, the most sought-after producer in Punjabi music today.

Although he shifts easily between styles and avoids a single genre, bhangra remains closest to him. Drawing on the energy, culture, and emotion of Punjabi music, Aran adds a modern edge while staying grounded in his origins. A career milestone arrived in September 2023, when Tru Skool invited him to sing live at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall during an event featuring Panjabi MC. It marked Aran’s first performance before 2,000 people and his first time on stage with a band; he sang two songs with the Tru Skool Live experience band.
