We are anticipating our crowds to double from last year’s event as the Mela is taking place over the whole weekend. We were delighted on hearing the news that the Olympic torch would be coming through the park during the Mela. Undoubtedly, this has enhanced our ambition to make this a summer showpiece that the whole of the West Midlands can be proud off.”

“Set in the heart of the community, this event is for every single person. From music to stalls to sport, our event is a celebration of South Asian culture which we want the whole community to enjoy. So get the weekend of 30th June and 1st July in your diary now!”
