Taxi No 9211

Director : Milan Luthria     Music Director : Vishal-Shekhar    Lyricist : Dev Kohli, Vishal Dadlani
Cast : Nana Patekar, John Abraham, Sameera Reddy, Sonali Kulkarni, Shivaji Satam
This unconventional and entertaining film which has been eagerly awaited because it features popular Bollywood star, John Abraham in the lead role alongside actor par excellence, Nana Patekar. Sameera Reddy is the female lead and the love interest.

Raghu (Nana Patekar), an insurance salesperson now turned taxi driver and Jai (John Abraham), the son of a wealthy business family, are two citizens of Mumbai.  Both these characters live in different worlds. Their paths cross one day when Jai steps into Raghu's cab. Jai is on his way to court to claim money which is rightfully his.  But soon, a simple cab ride kicks off a journey in which things go unexpectedly and spectacularly wrong.

The strangers turn into vicious adversaries, as both men are sure of only one thing - that the other is to blame! The film covers a period of 24 hours in the lives of these two people. It takes you on a roller-coaster journey of fun, thrill and suspense which ends in a very interesting climax.

A definite must-see if you are looking for Hindi cinema at its best.

'Taxi No. 9211' is a good package popcorn album that may not turn out to be as big a hit as Sippy's last 'Bluffmaster' but would have at least a couple of numbers entering the charts. A decent enjoyable collection of songs.
