Immortal Productions & Sikh Skillz present Saka 84

Immortal Productions alongside Canada based Sikh Skillz presents the EP album Saka 84 in commemoration and remembrance of the 1984 Sikh Genocide. Watch the promo to ZULM by Junior Mann & GV from the EP album Saka 84 here!

29 years ago 30,000 Sikhs were burnt alive and murdered on the streets of Delhi and across India in an organized and targeted genocide of Indian Sikhs. After the killing of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards on October 31st, 1984, the ruling Congress Party led mobs to the homes and businesses of Sikhs where Sikh men, women, and children were brutally murdered and their homes and businesses destroyed. 29 years later, the perpetrators of these heinous crimes have yet to be brought to justice in a country which prides itself as the largest democracy in the world.

As the 30th anniversary of the events of 1984 approaches, a new generation of Sikhs takes a pledge to not only remember and commemorate the victims, but to continue the struggle for rights, freedom, and justice.

This album is dedicated to the sacrifices of the thousands of Sikh men, women, and children who were targeted and killed in the 1984 Sikh genocide and we pay tribute to those lawyers and activists who have continued the struggle for justice over the past 29 years. Producers from the UK, USA, and Canada contributed to this album, a testament to the continued efforts of Sikh Youth across the world to never forget the most recent chapter of Sikh history and to continue the demand for justice and freedom.

The EP album will be available digitally online from October 31st.

Featuring music by GV (UK), Ajit Singh (USA), and Harj Nagra (Canada) with vocals from Junior Maan, Inder Kooner and Dhadi Jatha Saroop Singh Kadiana.
