After a break of exactly two years, World renowned UK Bhangra artist Jassi Sidhu is set to release his brand new single in Summer 2013 titled 'Hip Shaker'

May 2011 saw Jassi Sidhu release his fourth solo album titled 'Singing Between The Lines' - The album produced the hit singles 'Nai Reesan', 'Jaan Manghdi' alongside Yo Yo Honey Singh & Yaarian.

Although Jassi Sidhu has publicly stated that "Singing Between The Lines" would categorically be his last album before his proposed retirement in 2016, he would continue to-do singles & collaborations with selected artists in the future. Having first broken into the scene in 1996 with the band B21, Jassi Sidhu has gone on to become a household name across the world. In 2011, he announced that he would be retiring from music in 2016, exactly 20 years since he first broke through.

'Hip Shaker' is the first of these new collaborations, and will be releasing via iTunes in Summer 2013 on India based record label 'Vanjhali Records'. although as of yet the song is only scheduled to be released in India, not worldwide.

Jassi Sidhu also plans to release a further, still unnamed single in late 2013.

Are you looking forward to the single? Who would you like to see producing 'Hip Shaker'  & future collaborations with Jassi Sidhu? - Leave your comments below!

Jassi gets the last laugh, massive global audience, over 450k hits on the video he sure does not care lol

So does justin bieber get the last laugh with the 700 million hits. But that neither makes him a talented singer nor a happy camper.

Betcha Jassi Sidhu loses a lot of sleep over the real talents waiting to make it big and make him look like a novice!

Man..growing up predominantly listening to hip-hop I remember when I first started getting into my punjabi roots. Jassi Sidhu was probably the first artist I listened to intentionally.. but now hearing's kind of sad. Much respect to you Jassi but sometimes you just need to know when to walk out of the game.

Jassi Sidhu released some big songs back in the days with B21 and as a solo artist...

The problem is the Jassi Sidhu has his head stuck up his own arse, be it in interviews or on twitter, he thinks he is an OG of bhangra music (and football)...he has to deflate his ego and understand that his vocals arent that great, his success is mainly based on luck, who he worked with, and his hard work and he need to stop being such a prick to people who tell him that they disagree with his opinion, be it in music, politics, football or even other artists hes friends with (PBN, Bupps etc)...

he once rejected many lfc tickets for any game any seat from a number of season ticket holders at a party if he cud sing for free and he rejectd lolzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Why would he give up 3 thousand pounds for a ticket to a football match? he was the voice of b21. the voice and music together made the b21 sound

Where 2 start..... Hhhhhhhmmmmm!
This guy is a joke, after trying to hype his last album by saying it was his last and he was retiring, it still flopped! Now he has turned to Superwoman who has a big following, this guy will use just about anyone just to further his own career. He is a Big Fat Flop who thinks he is the supreme authority on bhangra music! Long Live B21!!!!!!!!

This song is utter crap. At least you could of went with the usual producers such as aman hayer, rishi rich as they could of made a decent track. Also the rapping is terrible, even honey singh would of done better. 1 out of 10 for me.
