Revisiting his folk Bhangra roots, Sukshinder Shinda gives you “Town Vich Gallan Hundiya”

Growing up in the suburbs of Birmingham, UK, and being schooled by the very best scholars of folk music and song, this grounding has always had a profound impact on his musicianship, song writing and overall attitude toward his work.

The new single is a salute to friendship, loyalty, and personal relationships. “It’s so easy to dismiss these values, but in those moments people show you their heart and trust, and that’s so important,” says Shinda.

‘The Music Man’ leans heavily on a traditional folk feel, with lyrics from the mighty pen of Lal Athouli Wala, and a sound created with live music instruments in the studio. “My passion of playing live and having the listening skill to play in a live environment remains strong.”
