Released on Collab Creations, Misunderstood is the second studio album from Sydney-based Punjabi artist Tegi Pannu. The album arrived two years after his 2024 EP Broken Silence and follows his 2022 debut album Disturbing the Peace.

The album is noted for showcasing Pannu's versatility across multiple musical styles, including poignant ballads, playful bangers, and punchy bhangra-rap.

Most of the tracks were produced by his long-time collaborator Manni Sandhu, alongside contributions from JayB Singh, Starboy X, and SOE.

This album showcases Pannu’s talent for blending “soul and swag”. The nine-track project deliberately unfolds like a “series of singles” each meticulously crafted to suit various moods. While long-time collaborator Manni Sandhu produced five tracks, the album boasts a more diverse production palette than previous work, resulting in its “multi-style” feel.

Pannu’s return to the Punjabi music scene was eagerly anticipated. He’s known for his deliberate pace between major releases. His last significant work was a feature on producer Gminxr’s 2025 EP HIT LIST.
