Biography
Inside-Man also known as Nikka Sev to his friends and family was born and raised in Derby. He was brought up in a Sikh/Punjabi household but also surrounded by Western influences as well as Punjabi Folk/Bhangra. His influences over the years include the likes of Kuldip Manak, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Mohd Sadiq and Dippa Dosanjh, Balwinder Safri and Tru-Skool to name a few.
Nikka Sev grew up mixing Indian songs with Western beats. He first learnt basic keyboard skills in secondary school and then went onto learn to play the Classical Piano with Yamaha Music School and later studied Music Technology at Derby College and his music production skill under the guidance of Matthew Margett a Techno producer.
Under the tuition of the Late Ustad Iqbal Rai due to the tragic passing of his Ustad (Teacher), Nikka was learning how to play the Harmonium (vaja) and was also taking vocal tuition. Nikka now learns under the guidance of Ustad Jass Sandhu.
At such a young age he has already worked on several releases since 2009, the first being devotional songs ‘Parnaam Shaheeda Nu’ and ‘Khalsa Bhindranwala’. Since then he has closely been working with Jagowale Jatha, Ustad Jass Sandhu.
Nikka Sev is now working closely with renowned percussionist Bhupinder Tubsy, who features on his debut album ‘Mind Over Matter’ alongside artists such as his Ustad, Jass Sandhu, Ashok Gill, Bakshi Billa, and Pargat and Jagdev Khan who are the nephews of the legendary Kuldip Manak.

Secondly Liakat Ali is a niceeee vocalist, look forward to hear more from him
And as always Inside-Man smashes it with the simple but very good production...lo oking forward to the full album!...(hope he gets some decent support from others in the industry)
Hopefully things can progress a lot more in the future in terms of videos/music in regards to Panjabi Cultural & Dharmik on my part however at the moment I would very much appreciate if you and anyone else can RT & FB the #NahiHatde song to help get the song out.
Thanks
I understand what you mean in regards with repetitive lyrics however there is a big support for this still and even if it motivates just one soul then in my opinion that song has made a difference.
Rupi Kaur – I totally agree as well that something has to be different and to have something that stands out and hopefully both projects do stand out and thank you for the support again.
P.S – Watch out for the Balwant Singh Rojoana song that will be released, which will be sung by Jagowale Jatha.
Well thats their loss and agree with Realist dont make a 'generic album' has to be different and good luck waheguru be with you x
I do personally believe that all musical artists that take part in a project should be given full credit where possible.
Realist & Injecter – I can say that you are correct in regards to it being ‘not good enough’. I believe the song isn't good enough to go on my album however I just created it to get a little excitement flowing for my album to come and to have a following in terms of the music I am creating.
I really do hope you enjoy this song and please bear in mind this isn't anywhere what I perceive to be my top work but again was created to gain excitement for the album to come.
Thanks for your support and there shall be many more Panjabi Cultural songs to come and mainly many more Sikh Devotional (Dharmik) to come in the future :)
