Oh and this whole calling the movies Jatt this, and Jatt that is such complete bullshit, lets be honest punjab is a wreck...the place everyone hypes up (chandigarh) isnt even part of punjab...jatts are portrayed as being uneducated farmers who s[censored]d their days lusting after women and drinking alcohol...they might do 1 brave act in the movie and everyone gets a quick pump out of it...

Agree with you on this..

And yes i am basing my opinion on punjabi cinema on 1 movie...ive seen the trailers for most others, and spoken to punjabi cinema fans and what i concluded was everything has the same storyline, the same 'actors' (how being a singer makes you an agood actor i will never understand, and how many movies can neeru bajwa do-shes not even that good... and the same ending!

Jatt and Juliet was such a highly rated movie, i havent watched punjabi cinema for a very long time; last movie i watched was probably Shaheed Udham Singh (Gurdas Mann)...i took out the time to watch it (took me 2 days to complete it because it was so wack)...nothing new, nothing creative and i was so offended by why they had to take the piss out of afgan/ delhi singhs (pappas)...real ly dont understand the popularity of punjabi cinema, yes bollywood takes the piss out of singhs/ punjabis but at least 'our own' media shouldnt be doing the same!
