One Word Entertainment unveils the highest budget “Gangnam Style” parody on the Internet* by new comedy outfit Chillimayo, writes dramatic press release in third person. Watch the Full Video here!

Featuring visuals influenced by Tron, Daft Punk and 80s 3D glasses, “Bhangra Style” has set the Internet slightly alight with its spectacular CG effects and stirred the UK Bhangra scene with its insightful lyrics into Indian society’s rampant consumerism.

“We wanted to capture the conflict between a strict Indian father and his struggling urban music producer son.” commented video director Parminder Gill. “We’re getting literally tens of views every day, the feedback has been overwhelming”.

Featuring an original backing track, lyrics and a video all produced for under £500 in 4 weeks, “Bhangra Style” represents the next evolution of the Bhangra genre. Raxel Van Schred, the self-proclaimed “fastest Indian guitarist on the Internet” and producer of the track, explains: “We blended Indian percussion, funk rock guitars and electronic synths but I’m still not satisfied. Next time, we’ll add strings, horns, brass, a piano, a sitar, an Indian chanting choir, a variety of tuned triangles and a cow bell to really take it to the next level”.

Utter rubbish.
Part of the success of Gangnam style was the dance routine. Why did they not do any kind of catchy dance??
The song is terrible and the video atrocious, but good idea.
