The next stop for Nehal is international fame and lots of hard work for her charity. She raised a total of £621 for her charity in 3 weeks, an outstanding result and one of the best from the group.”

Nehal’s talent was dancing- an ability which she has been practising for over 10 years and has attended and won numerous awards for, despite not being able to hear the music.

She said “The biggest passion of my life is dancing. Though I can’t hear the music, I feel the vibrations of the music through my feet and count the beats. When I was little, I used to sit in front of the television and watch Bollywood films; I would just watch the dancers and wish I could dance like them. I started my first dance class at the age of 11”

Nehal, brand ambassador of charity Action Deafness, will now go through to the worldwide competition where she will compete with 45 young women from across the globe. The pageant will take place in April 2013, Malaysia.
