Manni Sandhu, an 18 year old underground music producer was born and raised in West London.
Since a young age he had a passion for music being very fond of the Indian instrument the dhol; he would try and identify beats from old cassettes and teach himself the art of this instrument.
At the age of 10 Manni was now living in Newcastle and began his musical journey like most other DJ’s/Producers mixing bhangra songs together with drum and bass, garage and hip hop beats.
It was at the age of 14 that Manni received his final break when he was asked to DJ at an event alongside RDB. At the age of 15 Manni was across Newcastle DJ’ing with the biggest names in the industry such as Aman Hayer, DJ Vips, Juggy D, DJ H, Sahara, Punjabi Hit Squad and many more.
At such a young age Manni was tearing up clubs around the North East getting his name very well known.
Apart from just DJ’ing, Manni was putting together his own bedroom studio at home and began to practice music production. Making beats, bass lines and melodies was another art that Manni was very interested in so every night he would practice on his keyboard and harmonium learning how to play keys and chords.
At the age of 17 Manni had released two fully produced albums entitled "The Demo" and "Mutual Concept" featuring bootleg remixes of artists such as Lembher Hussainpurri, Bhinda Aujla, Dippa Dosanjh, Surinder Shinda and many more. Both albums received a great amount of positive feedback and showed people around the world that age does not matter when it comes to music, it is simply skill.
To this day Manni is still across the North East DJ’ing and still in his bedroom studio producing beats and experimenting with different sounds.
