Meh Punjabi Boli Ah found a place in every Punjabi heart when it released on Vaisakhi 2013. After much demand Jaz Dhami explains the personal significance of it in this specially produced video.

Teaming up with Inkquisitive Illustration, the artist behind the initial artwork and Mad Tatter Films, Jaz has created this representation for a number of reasons - for fans of the song, but also there's a special reason for doing it in English - for those that have difficultly understanding the deeper meaning of the track and for those that don't have a good grasp of the language.

The audience are taken on a visual journey through the varying depths of the song, with elements of the track individually represented - the change of traditions, partition in 1947, the precedence of the English language over Punjabi in classrooms.

The song is one that is held very close to Jaz's heart, at the recent Brit Asia awards it was awarded Best Lyrics, written by Kashmir Thakarwal and Jhalman Singh Dhanda.

Jaz Dhami went onto win Best Male, having achieved remarkable success over the past year with the super hit High Heels, which went onto become one of the most watched videos in India on Youtube in 2012, making Jaz Dhami the first British artist to enter that list.

The rise of Jaz Dhami continues as he collaborates with International rapper French Montana as well as including features with Zues and Kaos productions on his forthcoming album.
