Mani from Sangra Vibes sadly passes away

SimplyBhangra.com is devastated to report the tragic death of Manpreet Singh Sangra (seen here on the right) from production duo ‘Sangra Vibes', or more commonly known to family and friends as 'Mani'.

Sangra Vibes (Gopi & Mani) first burst onto the scene in 2005 with their groundbreaking album ‘Unleashed’. The album delivered cult classics such as ‘Naal Nachna’, ‘Darshan’ and the brilliant ‘Changa Ni Lagda’. However even before 'Unleashed', Sangra Vibes produced 3 songs for Manak E on the album 'Paisa'.

They had followed up this success working alongside Manak-E producing songs for the album ‘Darr’ including ‘Boliyan’, ‘Kan Vich Gal’ & ‘Aaja Mahi’. They had also worked alongside Manak-E for his latest solo release titled 'Aaja' under the Serious Records label.

More recently the duo were signed to Moviebox records and were due to release their follow up album.

Sangra Vibes were seen as one the most progressive and original young producers/musicians in the Bhangra scene, and the loss of Mani, who has left us at such a young age of 21, will leave a irreplaceable void in the Bhangra industry.

We would like to pass on our condolences to his family and friends.
