Sorry to hear this sad news and like Gurcharan (Mall), I also knew Dalbir well and it\'s indeed a great loss to see a fellow brother musician leave us. Dalbir (and Dalbir) contributed enormously in laying the foundations of the UK\'s Punjabi music industry in the early 70\'s and 80\'s and inspired so many people to follow their footsteps as live performers. Both Balbir and Dalbir were instrumental in bringing this industry to maturity which we all cherish and dearly enjoy being part of....I\'m sure Dalbir will be greatly missed and will remain a symbol of this legacy and live in our hearts...

I agree a picture of Dalbir above would be a good gesture and the least we can do.

Pala Uppal.

You know what guys? I\'m not going to sit here and say I was around when these guys were. Because I wasn\'t. Im 21, BUT I know what the Bhujhangy group contributed to the future of UK Bhangra.

They were one of the true pioneers, during the late 70\'s.

At a time when UK Asians were getting harrased by the NF & BNP the bhujhangy group stood strong and stood proud for Bhangra music.

We should all thank them for what we have right now.

:-)
