Rifco Arts search for British Asian singing Talent !

Rifco Arts are holding open auditions to find the new stars of tomorrow!  After the success of our previous national touring theatre shows, There’s Something about Simmy, Meri Christmas and The Deranged Marriage Rifco Arts are embarking on a new project and are keen to find British Asian Singers with talents in Bhangra, Bollywood, R&B and Rapp!

We have decided that it is time to unearth the hidden talent that exists in multicultural Britain today. We want to find the Temple singers, Bhangra stars, Bollywood lovers and R&B Rapp stars who have always dreamed of a chance to perform for larger audiences than their friends and families.

Are you 18+ with a strong singing voice? Can you sing to a high standard? Do you love performing and want to be involved with a highly acclaimed British Asian theatre company?

Auditions will be held in London 15th August and are open to anyone aged 18+ with a strong talent in singing and performing, more dates to follow. Auditionees must apply by completing an application form available on request or online at www.rifcoarts.com and will be asked to sing a Bollywood, Bhangra, R&B or Rapp song they have prepared.

If you are successful you will work alongside professional musicians and actors, rehearsing with a team including Pravesh Kumar (The Deranged Marriage, There’s Something About Simmy) Harvey Virdi (Bride and Prejudice; Thunderbirds; Bend It Like Beckham) and Sumeet Chopra (Alaap, Shanker Mahadevan, The Dhol Foundation). Robert Hyman (There’s Something About Simmy, Theatre Royal Stratford East’s Cinderella, BBC)
