After the success of his debut album Expectations, 28 year old Dj Gurps returns with his brand new single for 2012! ‘Ghabru Gulaab Warga’ is the first track to be taken from his second studio album, ‘The Headline Act’.

Former Dhol and Dholak percussionist, Dj Gurps, has been making music for 5 years and has been DJ’ing for over 10 years with the world renowned Calibar Roadshow. ‘Ghabru Gulaab Warga’ features the powerful vocals of Manjit Sohi. The 26 year old folk singer from Punjab began singing at a very early age and has been mentored by his Ustad ji, Dalbir Gill, Influenced by legendary singers like Surjit Bindrakhia and Dilshad Akhtar, Manjit Sohi received his first mainstream hit alongside DJ Rags with ‘Moda Maar Ke’ in 2011.

The track also features percussion pieces by Prithpal Rajput, founder of the Ministry of Dhol and member of the high profile Indie/Rock band ADF (Asian Dub Foundation). Winner of the International Dj Showdown in Vancouver (Canada) Dj Gurps has toured the world for nearly 3 years with his debut album and is now ready to set a new record with his forthcoming album The Headline Act.
