What is the point of having Punjabi movies about 1984...i think most of the Punjabis know what hap[censored]ed by now since every artist seems to be trying to jump on the bandwagon; be it through dharmic movies or dharmic songs...(Diljit releases a movie called Disco Singh on one side and another about 1984 on the other, Jazzy B sings about 1984 all the time, yet o[censored]ly asks people to support Badal in the elections!!!)
Why do we as a Sikh faith allow so much hypocrisy by 'our artists?' Getting out the message is all well and good, but we need to quality control who does it!!!
Plus we need to get the message out to the wider world, hardly anyone knows about 1984 in india, we have the procession every year in the UK and the general public dont have a clue.
Millions of pounds have been raised in the name of the victims yet if you speak to the real victims they havent recieved a [censored]ny... isnt it more important to help the victims than to s[censored]d thousands making movies about them?
