Watch the full video by UK born vocalist Prit DV8 who releases his long awaited new single 'Nikki Gal' featuring Sazia Judge produced by the exceptionally talented Gupsy Aujla!

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Leeds, Prit DV8 (aka Pritpal Rayat) is currently under the expert guidance of the renowned and respected Ustaad Harbhajan Singh Ji, and has been undertaking Indian Classical vocal training from Ustaad Ji to develop and refine his natural singing ability.

As one of the original founding members of the dynamic northern Bhangra act DV8 (who released the album Basic Instinct under the Nachural Records label several years ago); "Nikki Gal" represents the first single release by Prit DV8 in this modern iTunes era.

The single is a light hearted, fun dance floor folk duet featuring the versatile vocals of female Punjabi folk singer Sazia Judge ("Saa Charju" fame). The song has been produced by the exceptionally talented Gupsy Aujla, behind the singles "Sida Sada", "Get Funky" & "Gabru Rangeeleh". The lyrics for 'Nikki Gal' have been penned by the renowned writer Gurmeet Billichao and emerging lyricist Deepa Bhojowalia.

Citing his singing influences and inspirations as old school folk legends Sardool Sikander Ji and the Late Surjit Bindrakhia Ji to name but a few, Prit DV8 has been singing from a young age and has a great passion for Punjabi folk music, which has been reflected in the musical direction and delivery of 'Nikki Gal', giving a traditional feel to the single.

The video for 'Nikki Gal' has been directed by Sunny Dhinsey, from the highly acclaimed Filmlore team, and the concept, based on a retro/vintage theme, has been developed by Sunny Dhinsey and Jarnail Singh.

'NikkI Gal' by Prit DV8 will be releasing via E3UK Records worldwide on 12th September on all leading digital outlets.

This is such a RIP-OFF from Jazzy Bs Naag 2. Vocals are the worst i've ever heard. Poor Poor Poor.

Naag 2???? The two songs sound nothing alike. Hearing test in order methinks :-?

Alot of Punjabi songs do sound similar and I agree with Rajj, this does sound like Naag 2, especially when the song kicks in. he only person that needs a hearing test is you. If you think this sounds great then your taste in punjabi music must stink like your bad breath.

You can say that, it also sounds like Rarke - Nirmal Sidhu & Sudesh Kumari, fact is most Punjabi songs have similar compositions and therefore will sound similar.
