Who is to question what he does ? Its his choice..he has brought much love and laughter to many families all over the world.

Does it not make him a proper sikh if he shaves or talks about alcohol in his songs ? By doing religious tracks he is following gods name and as his standing as an international artist if even one young sikh who never listens to shabad, kirtan or path listens or downloads his religious track in the UK then this should be applauded. He is promoting our sikhi be it in a good or bad way but his main aim is to get the mesage to the youngsters.

Sorry I don't agree with sukshinder shinda promoting Sikhi .. He wears a turban but shaves !! Dharam Seva have announced their vision to educate future generations and preserve Sikh history though music, poetry and visuals. where is his Sikhi morals? Where is this Seva going to- the record label pockets?

Hearing the hook line from this track brings back memories! this track seems to be based off a track called "Roub Sardaran Da" from an album that Sukhshinder Shinda released around 1997 called The OGs. That was a solid album!

Quoting Realist.:
So what your saying is that Sukshinder Shinda should be immune from criticism just because he releases a couple of dharmik tracks every year!...have you seen the rest of his stuff though, yes its not as bad as other artists but he still sings about alcohol, caste, flirting with girls etc...i see it the same as going to the pub on a saturday and being at the gurdwara on the sunday! Do one or the other, dont do both, allow the mixed messages, dont try to buy immunity.
Sukhshinder Shindas actually a nice, respectful guy i fully agree with that but he needs to pick a lane, or choose a middle path where he can do both respectfully...i dont want to be watching britasia and first they play the 'one in a million song' and next its 'choj khalse de'...that doesnt seem right to me...

Couldn't have been put any other way

Even though music is familiar at some points there is still something appealing about the music. Especially the part with harmonium. I overall liked this track ;-)

Yawn...
This looks and sounds like every other song out there, nothing new or original.

In case you didn't know, there's actually more to this path than swords and war. It's time we go beyond this Macho-Sikh, which isn't even Sikhi to begin with.

Will be interesting to see what's next. Its good fo artists to respect their roots but then see them in booze, girls, cars and all that videos defeats the objective. Don't preach what you don't practice as a whole general comment to artists. And I am sure have already seen a same conspect video on another track anyone know that?
