Available on iTunes now is 'Teri Toor' the debut release from West London duo Josh & Jas. Featuring the distinguishable vocals of Jaswinder Daghamia, the Bhangra track with its urban undertones is proving to be a popular number.

'Teri Toor' is Josh and Jas's first single release and their first venture into the UK Asian music industry, however the pair have been part of the music scene and DJ circuit for over a decade.

Having both DJ'd for a number of roadshows, clubs and events, and now part of of Divine Musiq, the budding producers have a thorough understanding of various genres of music and their regular interaction with the public gives them an extra edge and insight into what's popular and what works on the dancefloor.

Having worked together as DJs for several years, they both individually had the desire to create their own music and get people dancing to their own tunes. Josh's knowledge is particularly RnB and House based and he is known for his fusion mixes, taking a desi track and giving it a new urban twist.

Jas who used to play dhol for Ministry of Dhol, has more of a traditional taste in music. Together they present the perfect mix of urban and desi flavours, representing the voice of young British Asians. About a year ago Josh and Jas combined talents and ideas and turned their attention to learning about production.

Spending time in the studio in between DJ'ing and holding down full-time jobs the result is 'Teri Toor', an eclectic mix of mainstream and desi influences.
