So who is DJ H?

DJ H is a very successful international DJ who week in week out is regularly on the road catering for both bookings for the highly acclaimed Calibar Roadshow and international requests.

Despite attachments to the industry's best in Calibar, DJ H wanted more. A full-time professional DJ, H performs every week in front of thousands of people, either with Calibar Roadshow at UK's finest banqueting venues, or the biggest nightclubs across the country.

With this experience H developed the ability to identify the formula to producing hot music. Slowly H pieced together his musical ideas and knowledge into his first album release ‘The Debut’ in 2005, under the Untouchables UK record label.

'The Debut' album showcased H's variety of musical influences through some noticeable sampling, guided by label-mates RDB. Yet it was the opportunity to work with chart-topping singer/songwriter Lembher Hussainpuri that propelled H's name into every bhangra fans CD player and iPod.

The club anthem 'Ishq Brandy' was the Bhangra record of the year, and the single and album held onto the BBC Asian Network Charts top spot for an unprecedented 13 weeks straight. Additionally, 'The Debut' also remained at the top of Club Asia's chart for 8 weeks.

With a high budget video shot in India, 'The Debut' was considered one of the albums of the year, and 'Ishq Brandy' without doubt the Bhangra club banger of 2005.

Dj H has a full state of the art music studio built at his home in west London, where all the pre-production, vocal recordings and instrument percussion takes place, alongside engineers Kam Frantic and RDB, who engineer the tracks.

He has also invested in film production team - Ballistic Productions, who have set up a production house in Dubai for international filming and editing and also an edit suite based at H’s home.

The Reloaded Camp is the next step forward for DJ H, setting up his camp of artists, who in their own ways have all had their inputs towards the album ‘Reloaded’ from singing, producing, and promoting.

For over 10 years, DJ Rags has proven to be a turntabilist genius, piecing together different songs to make a concoction of beats and melodies to rule dance floors. Growing up, music was a focal point of his upbringing having learned how to play the dhol, dholki and tabla.

Starting out as a DJ during the mid nineties, Rags worked to develop and enhance his DJ technique. Through cultivating his emotive style, he earned immense credibility within the Asian music circuit. Once mastering his skills, Rags started playing alongside some of the most recognised artists of the nineties, namely Mickey Finn, Randal and Grooverider – further bolstering his reputation as one of London’s premier DJs.

After conquering the club scene, Rags established his own discotheque company in 1999 - Mix & Blend and is now part of the popular roadshow Calibar. Rags can be seen and heard across venues in the UK and internationally.
